Weird I thought that the free version
Was limited to only recovering tiny little files
Like text files or something?

From what I can tell, there is another version called demo, which you can use to try it and that is limited to tiny files.

There is a Linux version of that, so I am assuming that that covers systems that use Linux file systems other than EXT2/3/4.
