hey guys

When installing leopard i stupidly thought it'd be a good idea to have 20gb primary partition and a 160 gig secondary for installing programs, but have since realised that you cannot really install everything properly to anything but the main drive :| I have deleted the 160 gig partition and want to extend the 20gb to make a single 180 gig.

How would i go about doing this in OS X, or even vista if there is an alternative that will do it (i dual boot them)

Cheers guys,

Tom.

If you use Boot Camp you can drag the slider to determine how much space you wish to use for OS X and Vista.

You can also try having a look inside Disk Utility (Applications > Utilities)

The Boot Camp assistant is the way to do it. Create a second partition in the spare space you have and then once it's there, you can run the assistant again and tell it to remove the boot camp partition and revert back to a single one. I don't think that Disk Utility can do this by itself.
