Hi there,
Can someone please help. I've just moved into a house and am a bit confused as to what I need to do.
In the middle of the house I have BT connection, which my Sky modem/router is connected via a filter.

Connected to the Sky modem/router via ethernet cable is my NAS (network storage).
I have a laptop and a printer connected wirelessly.
There is an ethernet cable, which I'm told provides internet to the garden room. I have this plugged into my sky box also.

In the garden room, I don't have any access to the WiFi (its too far). But there is an ethernet port in the wall.

The garden room will be an office, with multiple devices.

I want to be able to connect to the internet wirelessly, and also be able to access the NAS and printer which are connected to the Sky modem/router.

What device do I need to plug into the ethernet port in the garden room to make this happen?

Thanks in advance

Is there a patch from where your router is to the garden room? If so, just put a switch in the garden room.

The default answer is a Ubiquiti UAP AC Lite but they are not total beginner friendly.

How are they not beginner friendly? Mine took about 2 minutes to set up and since then I've never changed anything on it.

Sorry, I'm not sure what a patch is? I know that there is an ethernet socket in the wall, which can be connected to the main router in the house. I just want to be able to access the printer wirelessly and also the NAS wirelessly (the NAS is wired to the main router, the printer is connected wirelessly).

So is "Ubiquiti UAP AC Lite" the best one to buy? it seems a bit pricy - but if it will work, i will get it!

Thanks again
