extended desktop option on nvidia

Im trying to extend my desktop over 2 monitors but theres no option on 301.42 or 302.59.

Both monitors are recognised by nvidia.

any ideas?

test out with win7 built in options...

try moving your mouse right until the pointer appears on there. If you've got wallpaper showing, it's working... I'm just not sure of the orientation of the extended display in relation to the first...

yeah, amybe your extend option is greyed out, because it already is extended? duh?

extended desktop is just one main monitor with the taskbar on, + whichever other ones. You may be looking for something to span the monitors rather than extend the desktop? in that case eyefinity is your only option for 2 monitors, and you need to go sli for nvidia. (unless you have a 600 series card)

Try and move the pointer off all 4 sides of the screen if the other screen has wall paper it's working...

yes im trying to get taskbar to go across 2 monitors if that makes sense?
