extended desktop question

hi, how do i get a game to play on the extended screen on an extended desktop setup, i know with apps you drag them over, but games just open up in full screen on the main monitor

because, say i want to open apps on the other one, then how do i get to them? as all the start menu and desktop icons will be on the screen with the game obviously?

Move them (the apps and shortcuts) to other monitor.

so the only way is to swap the primary display to the other monitor and copy every shortcut to the extended desktop. that seems stupid.

and does this not then mean that they would open behind the game anyway even if i did go through the hassel of making shortcuts for every app?

Or, just copy every shortcut to other monitor.

If you swap them you'll be in same predicament.

And it may be stupid, but solves your problem

not if they will open on the monitor with the start menu, as that will be running the game, so what is solved other than a cluttered desktop??
