Extended warranty?

Anyone have any details of extended warranty's?
It's for the gaffer's Range Rover Sport, which is just out of warranty and the turbo as failed (expensive!!) Looking for 12/24 month cover.

If the turbo has already failed then an extended warranty is of no use to you! They dont cover preexisting faults.

He wants to get a warranty, wait for a suitable period then claim, is that the plan?

Sorry, he paid for the repair and is now worried about further faults and wants a warranty to cover.

I managed to get Landrover to contribute 25% to the total cost, but the final bill was still very expensive. Wish he'd sell/part ex the thing tbh!

No i mean to extend the warranty, especially as they have done the repair.

I've sent a e-mail to Landrover and asked if they offer their own extended warranty. They've yet to get back...i think i'll have a long wait!
Not sure on other Sport's but this one as had it's problems.

Hi,

You'll normally find a warranty company such as warranty direct will cover you, but it'd most likely be three months before they'd pay out for something like that.

Also you need to consider - they want an invoice and can send an engineer to check the fault. Not that I'm suggesting you're thinking of trying to get a warranty to cover a fault you've already fixed.

They may be worth a go though.
