Hi guys, I've got a server which is causing me much grief, basically - I've got a really old win2k server which is running a service which is used once in a blue moon, and it's got a 4Gb system partition and is constantly filling up, and I can't seem to be able to extend this, I've tried gparted, I've extended the partition, which is displaying as 7.75Gb, but the actual file system isn't picking up the size of the partition, does anyone know a way to sort this? I'm currently in the process of converting it to dynamic, then trying it again.

Note, I've also tried ghosting it, I thought if I were to ghost the boot partition to another, larger disk on another VM I'd be able to get some joy out of it that way, but alas no. It doesn't allow me to do it, I only get to see the D: partition.

Also to note, there isn't anything which I can move off of the C:, as all applications are installed on F:

Any help, much appreciated as I'm at my tethers end.

I would suggest getting acronis partition manager and using it to create a
boot disc you could use to extend your partition
