Extending memory with a SDCard on samsung sch-m828c?

I tried doing it in linux, apps & it never sees it. Is there something I am missing or is that phone to old? The OS is Andriod 2.2.2.

Are you trying to map some of the SD card as part of the internal memory? Have you tried this guide: http://www.aroundandroid.com/tag/how-to-increase-android-phones-internal-memory-with-link2sd-app/
