extending mouse and keyboard

hey guys,

i would like your thoughts on whether a usb extension cord that plugs in from the m/b to the mouse has any effect on the mouse/keyboard, in particular would i see a decreased response time, i need to know this before i get it, as i game often.

Technically speaking, yes, it will decrease response time. However, I doubt you'd notice an increase in time that's on the nanosecond scale.

No, you will see an increased response time, But a decreased response speed as it will take longer for the signal to get through ^
