Extending the range of a network at work?

Hi all,

I've been asked to replace a faulty wireless belkin router at work and at the same time they are requesting greater range for the customers here. Currently the faulty router only managed to cover a large conservatory area.

I want to either extend the range into, through the bar and into another room, or somehow increase the range to cover the bar.

Would the best bet be wireless repeaters? Are there any that I can run cables to, enabling the wireless to be kept free for clients? Ideally we want a router that can support a large number of clients, or failing that - some way of supporting a reasonable amount of users.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

What kind of distance are we talking?

Through two or three walls, and about 30 metres. Zyxel seem very expensive, I found some edimax Edimax AR-7265WnA bits and pieces which are more reasonably priced?

Any other options at all for around the £100 - £120 mark?

The "company" sound like a cheap pub.

I don't think any of the corporate networking members (inc me) are going to get a look in with suggestions for this one.

Not a cheap pub at all, we have a zyxel unit and mahoosive tramsitter on the roof. Supposed to be supported by a reputable local company. They've since gone bust, the router and roof aerial no longer work and simply we're after some sort of wireless to offer people who want it until the end of the season.

Its too busy to rewire and re-arrange equipment now - this is just a "get to september" and then do the lot properly kind of thing.
