Extension cables

Quick question.

Is it possible to get any extension cables with over 10 plugs without paying the earth?

Seen some 10 plug ones on the Bay but nothing higher.

My local electronics shop only do 8 socket ones.

Over 10 plugs :eek:

There's only so much current draw you can have off a single socket, that might be the reason you can't find one.

Hmmm OK, thanks. Just that i'm sure i've seen a 16 socket one before!

Will have to grab a couple of the 10 way ones.

You can get them, but they will cost at least 50 quid and need to have good, great, surge protection or your gonna lose a lot of items. TBH I have seen them kicking about in places such as Argos, but I would never buy one. It would be better if you somehow got more sockets fitted into the circuit loop or to use two extensions leads from a double socket. Not one plugged into another please... :eek:
