Hi guys
i would really like to get into close up photography.
I understand i will need an extension to add to my lens?
at the moment am using a 28-135mm lens on a 350d

I've seen a few cheap ones from the well known auction site.
should i stay away from these?
which would u guys recommend?

am sorry... still a noob in photography :)
any help appreciated

cheers

The options you have are:
- A genuine macro, such as the Canon 50mm F2.5. Apparently a very good lens, though clearly not cheap.
- A set of extensions like the Kenko kit, which can be bought for around £70. They contain no glass, meaning that it's pointless buying a Canon branded unit.

cool... thanks guys...
will look into it.
and i'll still be able to use it with my existing lens? will it be decent quality?

cheers

The quality does suffer a bit when compared to shots without them but it's only small difference. You will lose infinity focus.
