For some reason that has a very "Tilt Shift" quality to it!

Which make were they?

i got some cheapy ones the other day too...they're really tough without AF though - even though the guy in the shop told me they were AF! :(

ah well, they're fun to play with til i can afford some AF ones

For macro work, AF is your enemy!!! Dont use it!

Yes its hard, yes it is frustrating but manual focussing is the only way for macro stuff.

Yeah don't really want AF on macro, its a paid in the ass!

Im very happy with mine for £12.99 :D

That's really cool.

What was the exact name of the tubes?

Would they work with a standard kit lense? (18-55mm)

Those were with the 18-55, gonna try with 50mm tonight :)

I just searched auction for Canon Extension Tubes

There is a case for using AF ext. tubes but its not for macro work :) Save the beans for something more important! :D

The Kenko AF extension tubes are £60. That's pretty cheap for ext tubes, and I'd go for that over non-AF just because it's more versatile if you decide you want to use the AF. Some people don't get on with manual focus. I sometimes use AF for macro and sometimes don't. Depends what I'm shooting really. I just like to have the option available to me.

£12.99 for non-AF is an absolute bargain though!!!
