External device for hard drive

I have few old hard drives with important data on them, these hard drives are not connected in side my pc but is there a way I can connect them externally so I can move important data from them??
Also these drives has old windows installed will this become a problem???

Of these hard drives has old copy windows installed still? Will it conflict with newer windows on my pc??
