Thinking of changing the PSU in a HP Omen Accelerator as I can hear the fan even when not gaming. I think it's a 420w and I have a few ATX PSU from older builds that are much quitter and a PICO PSU from my HTPC. Have fitted an 1060 GTX and I am also powering the laptop (30W). Would the 150 Pico PSU do the job?

Why use the Pico PSU instead of one of the ATX PSUs you have got?

I would assume the Pico PSU would not be enough, or at least it would be pretty risky to use as it would be used at 100% capacity. The 1060 has an 120W TDP, so if it will power the laptop as well it would use 150W. I would really recommend to use an ATX PSU, or replace the fan in the current PSU.
