Hi

We have 2 internet connections and our firewall rules determine which internet connection each device uses.

I need to install something on a pc that will record every 60 seconds or so which external IP the pc is using as I think the firewall is sending this pc throught the wrong internet connection at times.

Is there anything you can suggest?

If your firewalls have the ability to report to a remote syslog server then you could use a free syslog server.

Build your own or for a more complete solution the free NagiosLogServer is nice, has a nice web based GUI and can configure rules / filters etc ;)

Sounds very complicated. If you've got two WAN connections, stick a different default gateway on Device A from Device B. Or a different default route with a netmask of 0.0.0.0
