Ok my boss has took it upon himself to order broadband for the company.

The only problem is our 3 BT phone lines go through our switch box, to dial out I have to ring 83 first to get an external line. Is there any way to get the broadband modem to dial to an external line in order to connect?

The only other thing I an think of is to have a BT engineer come and remove the line that has broadband out of our switch box and into a separate socket out of the system.

The modem doesn't dial at all...I'd imagine it'll need to connect to one of the lines before it hits the switch box, but it might be a good idea to speak to the ISP in question.
You might find that the switch box makes the line "non-standard", and the order fails completely.

Well the order is with plusnet and there telling me its active from today. Dunno why my boss who knows nothing about ICT takes it upon himself to do stuff.

I'll get him to contact our telecoms company and get them to take the line out of the switchbox.

Thanks Tolien

Got a mate who works for BT to come round, kindly took the line out the switch box and even put one of those dual face plates on so need for a microfilter. Connected at 7.6Mbps, so all worked out fine.

Thanks for the help though Tolien.
