Considering how long I've been using and building PC's I feel a bit stupid for asking this but I'm thinking of getting a case (NZXT H440) which doesn't had a optical drive bay.

It is very rare I use my Blu-ray drive but I do use it, is there an external way to connect this, like a caddy?

Obviously I could just get another case with a drive bay, but I really, really, like the red and black H440.

you can get both full size and laptop size caddies, or certainly could :)
the laptop style ones often need 2, full power usb ports to power the drive, and the tray will be manual, as in a laptop too.

Theres an ANKER usb3 to sata adapter you can get from a famous rainforrest site for around £20, you will need a free wall power socket and it works with HDD's and blueray players fine,, i use one.
