Hi chaps,

We have an external Pipe on the house which takes waste from the toilet and I also believe the sink and the washing machine (one or the other, or both)

We have a side patio area where the pipe runs down the house and then disapear under into the drain. The main sewer pipe runs straight down and the smaller pipe (from the kitchen) hits it low down at around a 50 degree angle.

I went outside tonight to put some rubbish on the bins and it looked although the kitchen pipe had been blown out. It was still in bit the connector was loose as was the pipe and there was some dried paper on the ground around the pipe although pressure had popped and it had spat it out. Bit strange never heard any noises and there is not loads of water or anything around the area so I'm assuming it was a one off occurrence.

That paints (perhaps a bleak dependent on your sensibilities :p) the picture, I was wondering if anyone might know what would cause that and irrespective if I would want to be calling a normal plumber or someone like dynorod with it being external.

Cheers in advance.
