External PSU for Shuttle media centre PC?

Hi all

Since building my new rig a couple of weeks ago, I've decided to turn my old machine into a media centre PC/server to sit under the TV.

Here are the specs:

Shuttle SN45G v3
Athlon XP 3200
1GB Crucial RAM
Asus Geforce 6200 passively cooled
DVD drive
Hard disc undecided

I want to make the machine as quiet as possible, for obvious reasons. I always found that the power supply was the loudest part, so I was considering using an external PSU instead.

I noticed that newer Dells (Optiplexes, I think) have external power bricks which are relatively small and have no moving parts, hence make no noise. I was wondering if it's possible to pick one of these up on the cheap and use it? Presumably they have the normal ATX/Molex/etc connectors on the end, making it easy enough to use them to power another machine (assuming they have sufficient wattage).

If the Dell PSUs are not an option can anyone recommend a good budget external PSU? I really don't want to spend a lot of cash on this, and if the PSU is decent 250w will be more than enough (that's what the Shuttle's existing PSU is).

Help much appreciated!
