External Soundcard

Just ordered a 13"MBP and the only concern is the sound quality from it.

Obviously it just has a single lineout so doesnt support 5.1 and the quality surely cant be that good?

so im thinking about going for a external soundcard to support 5.1 and improve sound quality.

so what can you recommend?

Doesn't the line out socket have digital as well?

The lineout is optical digital and supports 5.1

ive got Logitech Z5500's so how would i connect up to them?

You need a toslink cable with the little adapter on the end to let it go in the 3.5mm jack.

And if you're using logitechs I wouldn't worry about the quality of sound from the card
