External Storage options?

I was going to post this in the hard drives forum but as it is relating to my mac I thought I might get better suggestions here.

I'm looking for something to store my DVD collection as well as High quality music.

The only thing I have come up with so far is the WD My Book 1TB Studio Edition as it has firewire 800 and I take it I can hook them up to each other if I needed more storage?

What have you got storage wise? The reason I have been looking at firewire is because the iMac only has 3 USB's that I will most likely be using for other things.

time capsule perhaps?

otherwise i would go with an old computer filled up with el cheapo hard drives serving as a wireless hard drive

I'm currently thinking about Time Capsule and Apple TV so I can back up my DVD's then wirelessly watch them on Front Row on my Apple TV.
