Anyone got one of these? I'm tempted to get one for a present as the chaps laptop soundcard has died (laptop out of warranty). Used primarily on a desk so not like it'd be a hassle for him to have plugged in, only thing I'm a tad worried about is performance especially with him being addicted to COD4 
Anyone used one for gaming? I'm hoping with the advent of USB 2.0 a few years ago any performance issues have been ironed out by now.
