Going away for a month and I would like to have a camera focused on my garden entry which would also cover the car parking area!

Unfortunately I cannot go poe for the camera, I can get power to it easily enough, hence the wi-fi only.

If possible it would record and store clips to my nas, I use synology, so caninstall a certified package or use docker to install some recording software.

My home wifi is unifi kit, although not the most recent so doesn't have the built in recording function.

£100 or so would be my budget..

Thanks

Synology Surveillance station on your Synology NAS is pretty good, it's what I use at home. I have a Reolink PoE camera, but they do wifi models that come in your budget. Been very straightforward to setup.

Use Tailscale to provide secure remote access so the DS Cam app can give you notifications and remote view on your phone when you're out and about. There's a synology package for installing tailscale on your NAS.

2K Security Camera Outdoor, 360° PTZ WiFi Camera, CCTV Camera with 24/7 Recording, PIR Human Detection, Sound and Light Alarm, Support 16-128G SD Card, Works with Alexa

i use a few of these around the property
cheep and cheerful at around£26
can access via the internet if connected

Got Reolink and Tapo doorbell out front and been impressed by the low price and image quality of the 2K 3MP 2 Pack - C510W and C560WS out back and side.

All take memory cards and probably possible to add to a Nas. Mine are on a Tapo H500

Does any of your Unifi kit have a drive/sd card?

You can get a wifi bridge and then use a ubiquiti camera and record that way? Although probably will be >£100.

The bridge has a PoE port too. So it'd be, get mains power to the bridge, then run an ethernet to the camera and it should work. If your Unifi kit is capable of running Protect and you have a drive then you can do it that way.
