Extra 360 cover?

I found a leaflet in my 360 box today saying if i pay £60 i get an extra 2 years of support?

what does this entail, is it worth it?

i heard it comes with 3 years anyway.

It comes with 3 years for 3 red lights nothing else is covered. I think its worth it because from 5 returns 3 have been 3 red lights and 2 other issues like the drive failing. Not only that it covers head sets hardrives and you get priority fixing.

If anything goes wrong you can force it to RRoD anyway.

Ask Nokkon how that worked out

Also if the drives imtermittently throwing up disc errors they wont change that when they change the motherboard.

couldnt kill one of mine either

left it on for a week wrapped in towels while running forza 2, wouldnt even 3rl, its sat here now nearly a year on running fine touch wood

Yeah, my Xbox360 was indestructable. I couldn't get it to RRoD despite using Ovens and Freezers... and both in quick succession.

It was my GPU that went as opposed to RRoD, so it wasn't covered by warranty, so I sorted myself another one out.

Just sent it off, hopefully it will be worth it. My luck tends to die when warranties go out but we will see.

Exactly the same issue with mine. Couldn't get it to RRoD at all, but it was the video chip that had failed, and as it was a launch day console, no warranty.
