Extra ASUS bits

It's not Asus saving money at all. It's a budget board and Asus, as well as most other manufacturers including Gigabyte, keep the accessories to a minimum on budget models to keep the price down. If you want more accessories buy a more expensive board. Like I said though, I believe his board only has a single USB3.0 header and that would be used by the USB3.0 ports on the case.

Is £100 a budget board? I didn't want a super gaming board and £100 seemed to get what I wanted.

It has 2 x USB2 and 4 x USB3 on back but it has 2 x USB2 and 2 x USB3 headers on the board for use elsewhere.

QUESTION UNANSWERED - where can I buy these things NOT included. Didn't really want a philosophical debate!!

Thanks if you know.

Can you please remove the competitor link. As already mentioned, it is against forum rules.

Sorry = my fault - I know we can't quote competitors but as OCUK (or anybody else I could find) didn't seem to sell these things I hadn't thought of others a competition. Will read them more carefully next time. Apologies for getting C R A ZY into trouble! And apologies to OCUK. I did buy the board and CPU from them as a "job lot" for £245, so am not sure of exact price of MB. I would not buy a MB for £250 for my uses (non-gaming!). One I bought suits my purposes. Las time I bought an ASUS board more bits were included!

Thanks - found a front panel USB 2 one from another defunct box. That will be OK for the occasional USB memory stick I use. Thanks. Mel
