Going to get a full tower case which is quite a lot bigger to what im used to but I've been told that I may need to get some extension cables as everything might be a bit too small for the case.

Anyone got any idea what my friend means? Maybe sata extender cables? I'm not sure! :P

To be honest, you probably wont need any extensions. If you need longer SATA cables, I would just buy them, their are cheap as chips, you most defiantly wont need extensions for hard drives and devices in that area.

Fractal has good cable management holes on their case, PSU cables shouldn't really be a problem.

What PSU do you have?

corsair HX 520

I have the Corsair HX650 and have no problems with PSU cables in a CM Stacker 830 which is a rather large case.

Depends how neatly you want your cables.

In my case (lancool k62) my PSU would reach the 8 pin but it meant the wires literally went over the motherboard. As I wanted to keep it tidy I had to get 8-pin and 24-pin extenders to route the wiring behind the motherboard backplate.

Same, but we both have OCZ PSUs which have shorted cables than the corsair PSUs :)

Some highend cases come with the power extension leads included with the case, well my HAF-X came with a 8pin power extension to run behind. but as a few have said a case with decent cable management holes does help to places without having wires everywhere.

Id definitely invest in at least an 8 pin cpu power extension. Im using a corsair hx 850w, case is a full tower lian li a70f, the standard corsair cable was too short to reach the socket. Would have been fine if i had mounted the psu in the top bay, but i preferred to have it at the bottom of the case.
