Just like a couple of years ago I am taking part in Extra Life again this year! Last time out there was a lot of backlash which I'm hoping will be somewhat more restrained this time....
Anyway what I'm doing is playing a game for 25 hours straight over the weekend of the 25/26th October (yes the weekend the clocks go back
) in an effort to raise money for sick children. However there is a slight catch with the fundraising this year - due to legal difficulties money can only be raised in support of hospitals in the US & Canada which I know will put some people off.
That said I have selected a hospital that does excellent work for sick children internationally so all is not lost!
I'll be playing Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel in what I had hoped to be 4 player co-op but sadly I only have 1 teammate at this time. To make it even more fun I won't be starting the game until the weekend of this challenge so other than a few hilarious trailers I'll be going in blind!
Currently my only teammate is Dedwoods42 whom I have been co-op'ing BL2 with in some sort of thinly veiled 'practice' so as of now there are 2 slots open (if anyone wants to join) or they will be left open for random drop in players!
Right now (and the purpose of this thread) is to attempt to get some donations for this quite simply stupid challenge as currently I'm sitting at a measly 3% of my goal. If you're feeling generous you can donate here:

Additionally I shall be emptying out my Steam inventory and supply of game codes as a form of bribery - a list will be posted when I've worked out exactly what I've got to get rid of!
