This weekend is the Extra Life gaming marathon weekend with people all around the world playing games for 24hrs straight to raise money for childrens hospitals. Whilst all the currently supported hospitals are in the US & Canada they do considerable work in International care as some treatments are only available in 1 or 2 hospitals worldwide!
I'm taking part again for my 6th year starting later today at 2pm in which I will be playing as much of the Half Life series as I can in 24 hours!
For those not keeping pace Half Life is 20 years old in a few days time so this combined with the 10th Extra Life event seems fitting! Oh and other than testing it's been years since I've played these games and I can't remember large chunks of them so feel free to come and watch me die. A lot!
