extra links in google

not sure what they are called but wondered how websites got the extra links like those for the first result on this page?

Google does it automatically for sites that it deems they are suitable on. There is no way to force it I'm afraid. There is more information here.

^ Its at google's might that they show.

You can however change entries if they do ever appear. Use the google webmaster tools on your site and it will open your eyes to stuff you never knew about your site.

They're called "Sitelinks". And you can't change them once Google has added some for you, you can only remove the ones Google adds. Slight difference.
