Hi,
I'm looking at buying maybe 2gb more memory but I've heard you can't just buy anything if you already have some.

I've got a Geil Ultra series 4gb (2x2GB) PC3-17000 2133MHz Dual Channel kit. Does this mean I have to get another one which is no better than the 2133MHz?

motherboard: gigabyte ga-p55-us3l intel p55 (socket 1156) ddr3.

Thanks for any help.

yea might as well do another 2x2gb.
I can only see 3x2gb and they're all pc3-12800c9 1200MHz would these be bad?
my motherboard has only two free slots so would rather get 2x4gb then 3x2gb.

ok convinced I'll get the g.skill you linked.
I have no idea how to set the timings and voltage, is this needed with the g.skill right?
Is it all done on the beginning screens after pressing F1 (or one of the F's) on start-up?
sorry really don't know about the ins and outs of computers!! :(

yea 64bit windows 7.

so what exactly would i have to change in the bios? only bother explaining if its simple enough! would it just be to change the voltage of the new ones to 1.65v and the CAS latency to 9-9-9-28?
