Extra Ram isn't recognised as dual channel

Hi Guys

I had 2 x 8GB of Vulcan Paired RAM

I bought the exact same memory and fitted it yesterday. For whatever reason the original memory shows as dual channel, but the new RAM shows as single channel. Checked the mobo manual and I have them in the correct slots.

I've attached pics to explain.
Any ideas?

Thank you for the sanity check. I know the nuts and bolts of hardware, but I'm still a noob when it comes to some of the finer details.
The rank was EXACTLY where I was getting this from - just assumed both would show as dual, but that's not how it works - now I know
