Extra Tyres available to F1 teams

Hmm... I'm not convinced that was the motivation behind it. Rather, it's there to give the Pirelli a better chance to test and develop tyres and, maybe, stop them being too biased towards particular teams.

Mind you, the teams won't mind the extra allocation one bit.

True, I did think that, as they have termed it as "tyres for evaluation purposes". With the lack of in season testing Pirelli can only develop at race weekends, and teams wont want to use their race allocation doing development for Pirelli.

It might put some more cars on track on Fridays as teams use test drivers and development allocation tyres to gather data.

Either way, its a good move in my eyes.
