Extra USB Ports

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if OCUK sell extra USB ports that will go in the rear of the PC WITHOUT using a PCI slot and will use the USB header things?

Something like the above but would prefer 4 ports with two cables.

Anyone know if OCUK stock anything like this?

I cant see one in this store either, but I think you can find them on the highstreet. I definitely know the things you mean at least.

I've not seen one with four ports, but I'm pretty certain you can get one with two ports and one cable. Have you got space for two of these?

Try the auction site, i know that evga 680i boards come supplied with a 4 port model as i sold one on mm a while back.

Yeah, it depends on your motherboard. What is it?

You could just use a hub, which plugs into one of your USB ports and gives you four more.

Cant you just use a Pci card.?

I have stacks of these lying around from previous motherboards, and from my current one in fact, I had no need to use them in my current build. Have a dig around in old MoBo boxes, and those belonging to your friends, probably a few in there.

Yep i also have quite a few of the dual port versions left over from different boards ive had over the years.

I went up in the loft and found one in my old mobo box!

Two extra ports should be fine until I do a mobo upgrade.

Yeah, as i said before, this would be much more convenient:

It takes up one but gives you three, so it's giving you two extra. And you can use as many of these as you want, regardless of your motherboard.
