Extracting fonts from a PDF

Hi all

Anyone have any idea how to extract a font from a pdf file? the file in question has every character of the said font, cheers all!

Was it written as a PDF or a scanned image?

written as a pdf mate

It is possible, I know cuz I looked into it a while back but it involves converting the pdf to a postscript (ps) file and then extracting the font information from that... although it does loose the kerning information iirc...

can't tell you much more cuz when i realised it was that complicated (and that it doesnt' fully retrieve the full font information) i gave up...
