Is there a nice way of doing this? I've got an old machine and I need to extract all my contacts from it... What's the easiest way of doing this?

file import/export. Export from old and then inport in to new :)

Might be worth copying this file as well as it remembers contacts when typing in email address. May need to change file name to new profile if this changes.

C:\Documents and Settings\<name of profile>\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\<profilename>.NK2

Cheers I'll give that a go...

Forgot to mention, I'm using MS Outlook 2003, and they appear to be in a PST file....

Is there a way I can convert all the contacts to something like vCard files?

You will need to locate .pst file. copy to new machine.

File>open>outlook data file.

default location for .pst is:

C:\Documents and Settings\<profile name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
