I was surfing the web last night looking for some extreme cooling and come across some sites that showed people's LN2/DICE/Cascade Phase coolers. Have to say that it's one of the most awesome things i've seen, haven't really seen any of it on these forums but I'm sure that's just because 99% of people believe in overclocking for performance/value ratio (as they should)

I was wondering, does anyone have any good links to extreme cooling sites/forums, as I am interested in seeing what is possible at the extreme end of things. Also interested in highest clock speeds worldwide from commercial chips.

Thanks :)

Look in the vapour phase change sub forums of xtremesystems, search for "cascade".

World clock speed record is just under 7.7GHz by "Duck" of Team Japan using liquid nitrogen, i think the AMD clock speed record is by "before" in the region of 4.2GHz, i think cooled by a two stage.

Liquid nitrogen is the easy way out, cascades are the real extreme :D
