Extreme G Racing type game on 360?

I loved this game on the PS2, breaking the sound barrier and going super fast :D does anyone know if there's going to be a game similar to this released on the 360?

I don't know if anything is planned but it would be great if the daddy of all futuristic racers came out.... Wipeout.

I don't know if it's possible though as appart from the PC and Saturn, wipeout as only ever come out on Sony consoles.

I have Extreme G, F-Zero and Wipeout (all versions on PS, PS2 and PSP) and i'm telling you guys Wipeout is the better game although F-Zero comes a close 2nd ;)

had extreme G on the n64 AWFUL GAME! absolutely awful! u could just hold go and u would bounce ya way around the tracks with very little effort :/
 
I believe Quantum Redshift (which is a great game) works under emulation on the 360. I'll just try it and confirm.

*edit* I get the stupid resolution isnt supported error, but it should work under emulation for those of you that dont have the VGA cable.

if only ballastics came out on it :) (which is definatly the daddy in terms of pure speed, and by speed i mean that fast it makes your eyes bleed!). that thing looked and ran incredibly fast and even the most basic of all hardware on the PC. imagine it on the 360!!

but personally id love to see wipeout/f-zero/extreme G and rollcage on the 360 :) great extreme racing games
 
I liked ExtremeG 3 on the PS2 :) One of the few games I even have for meh PS2 ;)
Wipeout is ok, but no match for Extreme G tbh, Extreme G had far superior tracks imo.

Your right they did but things change, I did forget about wipeout 64 on the N64 which wasn't a bad version :)
 
I'd love to see something like that. The 360 has enough power to make it run at a stupidly fast whilst not compromising on the eye candy.
