I got my Vega 64 at the weekend and i'm having mixed results with it. In Hitman 2 i'm getting a solid 60fps despite CPU utilization being around 30%. However, in Farming Simulator 19 3rd person view is about 50-60 fps while 1st person (in cab basically) the fps is between 30-40! All the while i'm getting 100% utilization on GPU and as low as 10% utilization on the CPU ([email protected])!.

I've run Superposition and Time Spy and my scores seem roughly in line with other Vega 64 users.

Not sure what to make of this.

Sim games in general their game engine are rather basic (or old) and don't really use more than 1-2 CPU cores, and at the same time can be fairly CPU demanding.

So long as anyone got a decent enough graphic card, it will always be the case of CPU bottleneck...particularly at lower res like 1080p.

Hitman 2's game engine on the other hand would actually use up to 8 or more threads/CPU cores.

If your GPU utilisation is at 100% than that is what is expected when gaming. Whichever component is at 100% utilisation is the bottleneck.

10% CPU Utilization - is that just maxing a single core? Could just be poorly threaded, and given that it was only released today, it's likely there will be a patch as issues are discovered.
