today i decided to overclock my PC. i used to (but i can't actually remember doing it bar posts on here :o:() so please bear with me.

CPU: AMD athlon 64 toledo x2.
Memory 2x 1gb sticks(couldnt even tell you what they were!)
Motherboard: DFI Lanparty
Graphics: x1800(xl?)

what did these run as at stock? was it 200fsb x10?

it's now at 311fsb x9 with voltage at 1.425(i1.45 as a limit seems very familiar) and RAM on a divider so running at 200mhz.

so from:
2 ghz and ram at 200mhz to 2.8ghz and ram at 200mhz and it does superpipi 1mb test well over 15seconds quicker than stock i imagine(didn't test at stock only at 2.25 and it's over 10 seconds quicker).

does this seem ok?

i've tested it with superpi 1mb as a quicktest but is there a better way given it only runs for an hour at time?

that's the details and the RAM is Geil according to that.

AMD athlon 64 toledo x2

I beleave it was 200MHz x 11 for the 2.200MHz and and x12 for the 2.400Mhz versions. Got to amitt tho that some setting u are getting for that old Chip :)

ok cool ta. obviously it's nowhere near the latest but in the grand scheme of things how would it hold up?

obviously it's not quad core but against other dual cores how does it compete?
