Eyefinity 5970 Crossfire & 3 screens

If you want to run 3 screens on a dual 5970 (Crossfire) setup, is it best to have all 3 screens plugged into the 1st card, or can you connect one of the screens to the 2nd card (thus avoiding the need to use the DisplayPort)?

You'll have to use the primary card and the two dvi's and the third in the display port.
 
it is best to stop wasting money and use only one card, more due to drives and potential performance. plus the fact that Nvidia may be faster and cheaper... it that matters

if the OP is happy spending that much money then why not?

they might be megga rich for all we know :P

p.s. i am not an ATI or Nvidea fanboy
