Eyefinity adapter

Hi all,

Do you know if this adapter will work on 3 x 1920 x 1200 for eyefinity on a HD 5970?

If not what do I need?

No it won't, you need this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-250-SP&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=411
This is because the adapter needs to be active, so a passive one won't work. You will also need a mini DP -> DP adapter as well.

Ahh ok thanks, I see that is to a DVI output, can I then just stick a DVI>HDMI adapter on the end of it?

The reason why i ask is the monitors that are being used for eyfinity are the Hans G. 28" and I think they only have HDMI and VGA inputs....
