Do we know if Eyefinity works in Crossfire setups yet?

I.E

Can I stick two monitors on one card (2xDVI) and then the third monitor on my second 5770 DVI or has this not been enabled yet and we still need the active adapter?

Reason being you can get a 23" 1080 panel for just shy of 100 quid now I'm debating just getting three and selling my single 24" DGM.

I'm pretty sure they did manage to get it enabled with the latest drivers!

/hunts down info.

Here ya go - 9.12 Shizz Specifically it does support the 5700. You're good to go me thinks.

Edit - Yes I still think you'll need a DP adapter...

Err not sure on the HDTV part, I think it would get confused or you'd just tell it what monitors you'd like to use in CCC. Perhaps, not entirely sure.

Edit - Nope, I think one has to be. So 2x DVI and 1x DP. Sorry I didn't actually notice this in the initial post until my edit. :p

Yea by the looks of things even in a crossfire setup for eyefinity to work you need to have all 3 monitors connected to one card.

Bummer :(

EDIT : Snap Omega

Yeah so DP adapter in DP port and 2 DVI in the DVI ports. I think they just tweaked code to allow the 2nd cards GPU power now.

Yus but with adapters being dodgy and the only decentish solution seems to be the sapphire one being released I guess it'll have to hold off.

Not paying 70 quid for an adapter!

£70 or £400 for a DP monitor? :p

I don't really trust the adapter myself either. Just hold off until the DP become cheaper I suppose.

Edit - Same difference omega. :p (I know pedantry becomes us.)

Yea, I was looking at some DGM screens available for 100 or so a pop it makes it a cheap setup, the convertor/adaptor thing just offsets it a bit :(

I guess the ridiculous markup on the convertor can be done due to the cost of DP

It's actually cheaper than HDMI I think. But they charge a premium for the digital signal to be converted probably. Whatever fangdangled stuff it does on the inside of it. :p

Well it seems even the Sapphire adapter is just an OEM version like the rest.
So you will get the same quality with all the rest.
Plus it seems to be the cheapest solution.

Then you have something faulty as it works on my 5870 and 2408wfp in eyefinity fine :P

What revision is your monitor?

Odd thing is a apple macbook pro works fine all resolutions work via Displayport.

I have tried a 5970 and now a 5870 with this monitor and both do the same thing, 640x480 only supported resolution.

Tried another cable as well same result.
