No point in buying a GPU if I can't view it!
Many members have taught me that, so thanks for the advice, so far!
I will buy 1 of these as a PC upgrade to my Neovo 19";
Dell U2412M : Top price
Dell U2312M : Mid range
LG IPS235V : Budget
ALL are IPS panels - cos I can rotate them to portrait and add 2
IF I go crossfire and spend the cash, which is a serious option...
The dell 24" is 16:10, so at x3 I get a lot more screen, but the 23" is reported to be more responsive... the Lg is a budget option that still has good reviews if I decide to save some cash.
VESA mount is my 'must have' so if any other options come to pass... let me know, but after months of reviews, I've avoided TN and the three above fill a price point of around £400 to just over £600, if I shop around for 3 screens.
I'm also torn over GPU, as the 24" will require a little more grunt.
Best Plan; buy 1x monitor and a sapphire 7850 and clock it! Buy 2 more mons (when the wages from 2012 Olympics arrive) and a second sapphire 7850, job done - or save a bit of ££ and just buy a single sapphire 7950 that should clock nicely - leaving a spare slot! Whole new debate
I'm awear that a sub £200 7850 will OC close a stock +£300 7950 performance... so that seems a non starter... but in reality I need the screen right. The first monitor I choose to buy has to be right, as I'm heavily leaning to adding two more - and the dell Bezel is uniform around the screen... 23" or 24" making them right for eyefinity - IF crossfire has a potential driver prob, maybe an OC 7950 is an option, leaving time for drivers to mature and the spare slot for a second GPU in the future as a serious upgrade answer... instead of the more expesive instant HIT from a pair of crossfire 7850's that are clocked!
Hopefully you can see the dilema and offer advice, with exerience of high end HD eyefinity and monitors.
If you have experience with one or more of the above, please comment, all info is GOLD!
