Is running 3x 30" monitors just overkill? I’ve Gone from 3x 27" monitors to a single 30" but miss the eyefinity to much so want to change back.. : S
 
As for 3x30” I’m not sure, I had been using 3 Hanns-g 27.5” monitors and they did work well just had to turn my head a little too much lol.. I was just thinking 3x 24” at 5760x1200 would be better plus I can find a triple monitor stand for them easy unlike anything bigger..
The other problem is as much as I like the 30” screen I hate the glare you get from the ips, it’s like I always have a shadow over me and 3 screens doing that may just p*** me off lol.. only because it shouldn’t at that price :s

Thanks! That looks nice ;) Yeah I'm still 50/50 , just set up my old hann-g's again in portrait mode this time for the first time, WOW I'm loving it and would like it more so on 3 30's.. Just trying to use the TN panels without the dark patches doing me head in but I'm putting up with it.. :s I'm sure I will give in and get 2 more screens like you :) any joy with your 7970's with Eyefinity yet?



 
That's gd news about your cards Stanton, well that they will change them anyway :) it's not a proper test if they just stress the gpu's as Eyefinity has its own random faults i would think? Anyway my xfx cards have been gd running Eyefinity no random bugs yet. Unlike my 6990/6970 combo that was a little temperamental.. If yours is working I will get your monitor setup :)

Hi sorry just seen your post, as for the stands i did have the centre monitor on its standard stand and the outer monitors on single desk mounted stands but i now have the centre one bolted to the wall see link below..

As for the finish that’s how they come, also they have a small hole in each corner, perfect to cable tie them to each other :)
