Right guys im considering an eyefinity setup

i already have a Benq 2410HD and a 19" lcd powered by a 4870

What im thinking of getting is a 6950(flashing to 6970)

along with 2 BenQ G2222HDL 21.5" Widescreen LED Monitor

All 3 monitors are 1920x1080

Question can i still run eyefinity on 1 24"(centre) and 2 22" either side

Also will the 6950 be ok in my abit ip35 board(only PCI-E 1.1) with the 6950(PCI-E 2.1)

Yeah you can, but it depends if you can put up with the slight skew-iffness of having un even screens on a merged screen set up.
If you CAN stretch to 2x 24" it would look a whole lot nicer... but cost a bit more.

I know but not sure i ca strectch that far
mind my birthday is in 2 weeks so lets see how much money i get from that

will the 6950 be ok in my motherboard though

will work but may look a lil bit funny. Personally running on 3x23" samsungs and would always want the screens the same dimensions.

I don't see any reason as to why it won't work on your mobo... your PSU will be enough for the 3 screen output strain on the GPU.

I run a 24" as main screen and 18" as second and I hate the way they don't match... to the point where I'm tempted to buy another 24" as second so they match - so in Eyefinity it would really bug the hell out of me.

If it's your b-day, I'd wait and get the money together for the matching screens.
