Hi all

Recently made an order for 3 x Samsung S27B750HS 27" Widescreen LED Monitor.

My problem is that I went for aesthetics and never bothered to check the input connections (1 x HDMI and 1 x D-Sub) so I'm unsure if I can run these in Eyefinity for gaming.

The system Has 2 x HD7970's but from what I've read I should only connect the Monitors to the primary Graphics Card which has 1 x DVI, 2 x mDp, 1 x HDMI.

Now would it work if I was to connect the HDMI to HDMI (obviously) then adapters for the mDp's to HDMI.

I'm a noob with a passion for having all the gear and no idea but plan on learning as I go, just need an answer before the order is dispatched so I can make a change if necessary.

Cheers

I'm Sure they can be tucked as the bases are not the full length of the monitor.

What is the reason for an 'active' adapter, would it be best to just use both mDp's with active adapters and the HDMI port or do you need to use the DVI??

Basically I want the 3 monitor setup for my gaming and so the better half can use it for studies. 1 screen for a DVD, 1 for a research document / internet and the 3rd for her essay or whatever.

I've asked the question in customer services regarding my order so hopefully they'll see it and be able to recommend something suitable.

Was thinking of changing my order to these (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-070-BQ) but still unsure.

What a Minefield.......

To be honest I'm probably just better off asking what would you recommend monitor wise.

Do I have to run eyefinity or should I just set the resolution to 5760x1080 for games and just change the settings in windows for running multiple monitors.

Yes, really..... I am this clueless :o

Like I said before I'm looking for High quality Gaming but it has it's advantages for regular use too.

Money wise I can push to £300 per monitor but looking at 27" LED monitors. Continued my search and have found these

These are not much more than the monitors I've ordered and have display ports. I'd be leaning to the 'Gaming one' :p

Thoughts?
