Just a rant,

Recently i had to RMA a Sapphire 5850 as after i flashed the bios as directed to by Sapphire it fried the card! They sent me a refund.
Anyway i got a ASUS 5850 from OCUK and this card also has the flicker issue.

The screen attached to the 'active' display port adapter flickers every now and again, so i mailed ASUS they replied basically saying, live with it there is no fix! WTF Ive paid a lot of money and dont think i should 'live with it'

Just mailed AMD, see what they have to say about it.

I am reluctant to flash the bios on this card as it fried the Sapphire one!!!

Yes i could have, but ive done a lot of reading on this and im sure its down to the bios settings regarding power, will await a reply from AMD, sometimes it does not flicker for hours but then sometimes it flickers every ten minutes or so.
