Hi all, would like to know your thoughts and opinions on which is better out of Eyefinity or nVidia Surround 2D.
Here's a little explanation on why I am asking for help.
I built a custom PC with the following components:
Intel Ivybridge i5 3570k @ 3.4
AsRock Z77 pro 4 M motherboard
Corsair Vengeance 8gb
MSI R7970 overclocked to 1050mhz (i believe)
OCZ Agility 3 120gb SSD
1TB HDD
OCZ Fatality 750w psu
Cd/dvd optical drive
Zalman Z11 plus case
I originally purchased the MSI R7970 graphics card and when drivers and everything were installed i was having major issues with the card. The card was tested in a friends pc and deemed to be faulty. I returned the card to Overclockers UK and they replaced it. With the new card installed and once drivers installed and attempt to play games, major issues again. Had card independantly tested by PC specialist with the conclusion that the card was at fault. At the moment i have an old nVidia GTS 250 and there are no issues whatsoever. I am awaiting an RMA number to return the 2nd 7970 and now unsure whether to go for a 7970 from another manufacturer, ie Asus or Gigabyte, or whether to switch to nVidia and go for the GTX 680. I am moving to 3 x 24 inch monitors in a couple of month so need advice as to whether to stick with AMD or change to nVidia.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
