Have noticed something very strange with my Eyefinity set-up using the 'new' MSI 7970 I have.

Have a 3x1 desktop with 5760x1200 (2xDP and 1xDVI)and when ever I boot from cold this fails to engage and I get a strange resolution and all my desktop icons are larger than normal and pushed over to one side of the desktop. A quick reboot and all falls back into place....icons correct size and correct positioning as I have set them up and correct resolution.

I thought this may have been a driver issue but have just upgraded to latest betas and is still the same.

Anyone else have this sort of issue?
 
Not had or heard of anything like that I'm afraid mate, on my current 290's, or the 7970's I previously ran.

How old is your Windows installation, and how many driver variants have you had? Only asking as I was getting some very odd niggles after a couple of years worth of driver updates (some games would crash to desktop when first launched, profiles in CCC always took two selections to work properly, so on) and a fresh Windows install followed by current AMD driver install fixed them all. Had previously tried DDU to clear out any driver files, but it didn't have much of an effect. Might be a sledgehammer to crack a nut, but might be worth a shot?
